I am doing the Crafting Quest in Krokotopia and given by Wul'yahm and He told me to create 2 Rings of Insight. So I make them then it makes the Donea-Dont-Donna sound which meant I did the objective. So I go back to talk to him, and according to the Quests a Yellow Question Mark means that when you talk to her you get an Award. But this one still showes the Grey Question Mark, she says I have to make 2 Rings of Insight again and I already Did. I don't want to start over because it is EXPENSIVE. The award is Mighty Nice too if you know what I mean :)
This issue has been discussed fairly often here. Crafting is a little buggy on some quests. Please make sure you:
1) Have crafted the correct items requested, 2) Have those items in your backpack - NOT EQUIPPED, 3) If all else fails, try crafting one more of the required object.
I would make sure you have your rings in your backpack. If you accidentally sold them, I have read you can buy them back and still get credit for them.
