Quest helper acting weird

When i was about to do a quest my quest helper went wild.
It did some spining and the numbers keep on changing to diffrent
numbers. After a while the arrow froze, even the number didn't change.
The arrow was facing where i was going everytime i turn.
Then the when i was going into the fariy grounds to play a minigame,
right after i finish, the arrow went from wild to crazy.
Can someone please tell me how to fix this. :?

are you on some quest that does that? otherwise i don know :?

I'm not sure with this one. I know that in Avalon i'm having a similar issue, my quest helper is on, but the arrow is stuck and the numbers are froze.
