Invited friends with my code but no crowns

With my friend code, I invited friends and played with them. But Wizard101 stated that every person that you invite gets you 1525 crowns. Did I miss an update or it is a glitch?

Don't they have to buy a membership or something for you to get crowns?

I believe they have to purchase something for you to get crowns. This prevents you from "inviting" a bunch of duplicate accounts and getting infinite crowns.

no glitch, i think they have to give in six dollars each. i could be wrong, so don't do it unless you have proof.
