cant reel in a ice dekoi

i have tried over 30 times, for a month, never, and they're really common......

Are you certain you're doing it right? You have to click/hit space when the lure is completely under and you hear a ping sound.

i know, i keep reeling in fish instead of an ice dekoi, now 40 times.

Are you using a different fish lure? Ice dekoi is usually caught with an ice fish lure... I would recommend looking for them in the Commons because it's common(lol get it? haha I'm laughing at my own joke, but moving on). And maybe use that refill pond spell.Remember, you would have to have a lot and I mean, a lot of patience for fishing.

Here are the following locations where the Frost Dekoi may be found:

Wizard City Commons (Behind Zeke)
Mooshu Tatakai Outpost

Make sure you are using an Ice Lure and also use a spell to see where the Ice fish are located!
Switch realms every once in awhile if you still can't find any

Yeah, I'm having a simialr problem myself.

It takes me ages until my fish reels in. It shows me standing there, then about 40 seconds later, the fish flies in from behind!
