Ok this happened one to many times, I get a boss fight quest I fight the boss, win but te boss stands there for a second then dissapears but the quest tracker still says that i hav'nt beat him yet and i have to fight him again and sometimes again until its says i beat him. Just posting this to see if anyone else has seen this.
I ran into that problem in CL too. I left the dungeon (cave) and it normally would correct itself. Check your quest log to see if you beat him. Sometimes it will say you didn't, but in the log it says something different.
