2 things messed up.

When I was around level 25 one of my spell card awards was Plague and a telescope house item.

Now at level 50 and having all my school cards I was working on the quest that leads up to Celestia and again at the end of one of those quests I get the same reward, Plague spell and a telescope house item.

Why?

Plus Zeke in Dragonspyre completely forgot about me doing to Stone Roses quest and gave me that quest to do again.

There are only a limited number of items in the Spiral. It's inevitable that you'll get the same item more than once.

The other could be for a number of reasons. You could have made a mistake, or the game could have. You'll have to do it again.
