What Country and/or Era Grizzleheim is based on?

I know the Frost Giants live there (And one of them, Ymir, is a obvious reference so the Norse God, Ymir), but what Country Grizzleheim is based on?

The Norse countries from which the Viking culture sprang - Denmark, Scandinavia, etc.
