Wait a minute!? y'mean if you do the two side dungeons first, the brothers dont appear!? I already beat Jotun but I never knew that! Noone told me that! and all this time i was wondering what those dungeons were for...

I think there is a problem with taking out the brothers on the left & right. I did that twice & they all still appeared for me. Have no advised about getting help. I seem to always missed who is on my friends list.
