What good are likes?

How does accumulating the likes of plant help in Gardening?

Does it give you more harvests over the life of the plant?

Does if give you better or more things when you harvest?

Or does it not affect the plants at all?

I don't know about more harvests, but it does make the plant grow faster (thereby getting more harvests with multiple plants ).

Plants have likes & dislikes, conditions that can help them grow or hinder their development. A plant will grow faster if it is surrouned by things it likes, and it will grow slower if it is surrounded by things it dislikes. You can learn what a plant likes or dislikes by hovering your mouse over it while you are in the Gardening window.
