Here are my fix suggestions concerning fishing rewards, including XP and chest rewards:
- catching the small fry and whopper version of certain fish species should count multiply times of getting the initial XP for that fish. This will help to access higher fishing ranks. It should also count multiply times when it comes to unique fish count (maybe new badges, like Fishing Legend for getting 250 unique fish would make fishing more interesting). - XP for chests must be raised a bit, because getting a chest meant to be a special fishing event and it must be rewarded better. Something like 100 - 200 XP would make you feel more special, and it would also serve the goal of granting people access to higher fishing ranks (which is cool). :) - chest rewards should be based upon your fishing rank, instead of the map you have caught the chest.
