No not bad at all :) . Everyone works at different paces. It is really a good thing because you need to be level 48 and finish Dragonspyre to start Celestia. I was level 50 way before I finished Dragonspyre.
If you do all the side quests thru DS, you should hit CL around level 51-52. The only 'bad' side effect is not being able to get the level 50 Sun/Star/Moon spells unless you have friends in CL.
