Your basic crafting table is a drop from Eudora, who gives the first crafting quest. If you completed the quest, you should have the table in your backpack or bank. You have to put it in your house/dorm room yourself. The other tables--for housing, equipment, and cards--you have to buy from the bazaar or from a furniture vendor.
