You can transmute Black Lotus into Black Pearls, but you need the recipe. For each Black Pearl, you need 15 Black Lotus. Toshio in MooShu sells the Transmute spell. Sometimes, you will also receive a Black Pearl as a rare reagent from harvesting Black Lotus. Hope this helps!
