crafting for cash?

Nov 19, 2012
after i do the crafting missions, i don't tend to have a need for it. (since i get my equipment elsewhere) but then i had a thought that should have been obvious! why not make gear and sell it off for cash? i have a ton of reagents collected over time just going to waste. however, i still must spend my hard earned money from killing of the scum of wizard city for the items i don't have to finish crafting. so, anyone know a good item to craft for the best cash reward? i just finished the second set of crafting missions. (in krokotopia).

p.s. -- sorry if this topic is already made elsewhere, i scrolled through it and didn't see anything similar.

thanks in advance:

I'm sorry omegabeast21 I don't know what crafted item sell for a of of money, but I do know when the bazzar dosen't have a lot of certain reagents you can sell your reagent for a pretty penny.

thanks for the tip. i'll try that out. i suspect crafted items might result in better cash though. also, lately i have been wondering: every time you craft something, will it always turn out the same or is there a chance to craft bonus effects? (more health or mana then original)

Nope crafting is static, what you see is what you get. Though I have been hoping a scripting/glyphing/symbol ing component would be added to allow for specific enhancements to gear, pets, and mounts.

I thought of the same idea when I was starting out crafting, But I ran into a big snag. All Recipes have at least a couple reagents that require bought reagents. (vials, gems and the like.) So in order to make crafts in order to sell, you would need to spend money to make it anyway. Plus things only sell for a fraction of it's worth anyway. You would be better served selling the reagents for the cash straight up even if you already had the bought reagents. However if it's gold you need, try hunting the reagents down and selling them. Makes a great living.

Sorry, I can't help you with this one. I have figured out though that it can make some cereals for around 100-150, and sell them for about 450. I'd suggest making some robes (life/ice preferably) and sell them at the bazaar. Good luck!
