Can't hand in Two Ring Circus quest?

I recently finished making my two ring of apothosis' and in my quests it says talk to Balthazar Dragonthorn but when I go to hand the quest in he says that he is still waiting to see the rings. Any ideas of how to solve this?

If your quest log states you have crafted the two rings, place them in your backpack and go see him.

If you sold them, you will either have to re-craft or try to find at the bazaar.

Oh ok, I must have accidently sold one at the bazaar seeing as there is only one in my backpack...

I did that with my marleybone one and I got into the habit of putting it in my bank so I don't sell them.

I have both in my backpack and still can't get him to accept them
