There is no way to answer this accurately. Everyone plays in their own way. Doing side quests, which you should do at least a part of, takes more time. You also don't state what school. The school does make a difference. My Storm and Death wizards zoomed through, the other schools not so much.
The game takes patience and being in a big hurry could very well hurt you at Celestia and above. Best to be more powerful than get clobbered.
There are too many variables to give you the answer you are looking for unfortunately.
What school are you? How well do you know your school? Do you play solo? If not solo, then are your friends available as often as you are? What is the schools of your friend(s) wizards? How well do they know their schools? Are you going to do ALL the quests leading up to Celestia, or just the main story line? How often will you lose a duel sending you back to the base to run back?
These are just a few of the situations you will come across while you level your wizard. There is no rush, the land of Celestia isn't going anywhere, and will be ready for you after you defeat Malistaire.
