I was wondering how to get sharpened blade and potent trap. I tried that pirate guy in saltmeadow, but he gave me a quest series that went on for awhile, so i dont think thats it. If you know anything, please comment below.
First of all, did you repair the Sun School Obelisk in Zafaria? You have to do that before you get any quests to repair the Star, Sun then Moon schools in Azteca. Each of the three leaders will give you a quest to repair those schools, in that order. So you have to repair the Star before you get the quest to repair the Sun.

This quest line involves a few back ground quests to be completed. If you follow the Prequests or Leads to you may see where you are. The quests run between Pacal and Tezcat.
You can start here and see if you have any of these quests that lead up to Pacal giving Turn up the Sun.

To get the Sun School spells:
In Zafaria, Drum Jungle, the training obelisk "must be repaired" in the quest "Midnight Sun" before it can be accessed. This link gives details on that quest:
You can click on the highlighted items on that link (like the "quest goals") for more details (like "prequests" or "given by whom") to see what you still need to do.
If you need more information on all of the Sun School Trainers, this link has details. You are going to have the same issue in Azteca too ("must repair the obelisk"):
And remember that you can't just walk up and pick which spell you want. Just like at the lower levels with our spells in Ravenwood, we had to get the spells in sequence. The same applies to the Sun School spells. Did you pick up the "required" spells?
On that link, you can click on any spell to find out what the "requirements" are. For example, if you want Gargantuan, the requirements are that you have Monstrous, Giant, and Strong first.
