Witch sounds better, Archmage or Promethean?

I have been wondering what people think of the level 80 and 90 titles, i personally think Archmage sounds cooler than Promethean, what do you think?- Ryan Soulblade, Archmage Pyromancer

I agree. Promethean actually means "of prometheus" in greek mythology but it is also refered as "clever,ingenious,innovative".
But yes archmage sounds better lol.

I prefer the title archmage better, However when it comes to the shortened titles for archmage it would be arch wizard, for promethean it would be pro wizard.

I would say neither.

archmage sounds way better. also, promethean would imply that we have deity-like powers, which we certainly do not.

Archmage sounds better! Even though promethean means a higher ranking, Archmage, just sounds cooler. I don't know why , but it just does ! I can't wait to become the highest level!!! I'm only level 49 right now

Archmage, not only sounds better, but technically is better. Archmage in real life means " the best sorcerer " so Promothean? It should be swapped around so it makes sense.

Well, I can wait on level 90. I like Archmage better. I so want to be an Archmage Thaumaturge!

Archmage defintely sounds better.

Promethean sounds like a single celled creature closely related to a parameceum.

But aren't we students in a school? How can we be an archmage? No wonder Cyrus has a chip on his shoulder, all these students getting fancy titles while all he gets is "professor".

I think archmage sounds best because it sound like armor and weapons. promethean sounds like lvl 50.

lol… me too! I loved the title Legendary. I displayed it all the time :) now i cover up my no title with a badge….

I think Legendary (Level 60-69 badge) sounds more "epic" than all of the others. But, between Archmage and Promethean, Archmage. :P

I think Archmage sounds more "Cool." I like it much better than Promethean, but promethean is still pretty cool as well.

Hard decision but i would pick promethean just sounds better to me. favorite title would have to be legendary.

You've kind of influenced my decision. :P I am kind of a Greek nerd, I love Greek mythology. I also think promethean kind of sounds like something about dinos. I think promethean sounds better.

I definitely agree. Archmage Necromancer (or Diviner, Sorcerer, Pyromancer, etc.) sounds way cooler than a Promethean Wizard!

I would disagree with most of you, I personally would believe that Promethean sounds better as a grand title than Archmage. As it would imply, Archmage sounds not exactly full, like there is less than 100%. As there is less than there actually is. However the new title Promethean sounds like it is 100%, and therefore a good title for us at our highest levels. But that's just my personal opinion.
