Grin & Bear It

Wizard101 Myth Professor Cyrus Drake
Well hello again, young Wizards. I don't have any more laundry for you to fetch, but I suppose I could still find you useful...

Now that it's August, there is much work to be done before our young Wizards start to return to their other-world schools. Visit Grizzleheim to find out what those bears are up to these days, and don't let them fool you, Grizzleheim is no teddy-bear's picnic. As you progress through the world it gets more and more difficult and the rewards reflect that increase in difficulty.

A special notice to my Myth Students...no matter how many times you pick up the Lynx Gazer painting in my office, I will always replace it!

Quick Tip

null  Quest Tracker Arrow
As many of you know, the Quest Tracker helps direct you in the right direction for the quest goal you are currently working towards. We've heard players mentioning that this Quest Tracking Arrow disappears once in a while and we wanted to explain why this may be happening.
  1. Your Quest Tracker may be turned off - Press T on your keyboard to turn Quest Tracker on and off easily.
  2. The quest you currently have selected may not qualify for the Quest Tracker option - some things still remain hidden!
Remember, young Wizards, if the arrow is pointing you in the wrong direction, you can always consult your Map by pressing M when you're not in a duel. The destination you seek may be shown there more clearly than the Quest Tracker directions.

A Message from Mr. Lincoln

null  Greetings young Wizards! There are many students at Ravenwood these days and not everyone is behaving themselves! Recently a question was asked about what happens when a player gets reported for inappropriate language, and here are the details:
When you report someone, or you are reported, a message is sent directly to Mr. Lincoln that includes the chat logs of everything that was said before and after that report.

Mr. Lincoln then reads the log and assesses the situation. He determines how bad the offense was, looks up prior offenses for the reported individual, and based on that assessment he issues sanctions such as muting or banning and sends an email to the offending account explaining the violation and the sanctions.

If the report was falsely made, that is determined as well, and the player who made the false report is investigated as to whether or not they have made previous false reports. False reports are just a egregious as valid ones, and similar sanctions can be levied against repeat offenders of false reporting.

Everything that a player enters into the chat window is logged. These larger chat logs are also routinely checked for those infractions that are not reported.
So please young Wizards, remember that what you say is being read by the faculty!
