One more reason to become a member suggestion:

Community gardening. It works like this:

If YOU are a member, then anyone, (member or not), that visits your house, (as long as they are on your friends list), gains the ability to cast spells on your plants. They do not gain the ability to harvest or plant, just cast spells.

Because energy is hard to come by, this would allow a member to use their energy for something other than gardening, while their friends could visit and spend a bit of energy helping tend their plants. This means members would have more to train pets and fish with - boosting all three activities for people that choose to buy a membership.

Why would you use your energy on a friend's garden? As you say, it's limited, and pet training and fishing also use it.

Why wouldn't you? Here are some scenarios:

1. You are visiting a friend and see that some plants need help. You like the friend and just want to help..

2. You need to do a lot of pet training, but your friend doesn't have any to train and doesn't care to fish or garden. You agree to help your friend through a few tough boss battles in exchange for your friend spending the energy they aren't going to use on your garden.

3. Your friend does a lot of gardening - growing various plants to get stuff for pvp - but you don't and you don't have any pets that need to be trained at the moment. And fishing is something you never do. You agree to help your friend garden either out of the goodness of your heart or in exchange for something - help with farming a dungeon or one shot duel, or maybe teaming up with you for a pvp tournament.

4. use your imagination. There are tons of other reasons why you might want - or your friend might want - to be able to help out with someone else's garden.

Sure, those are all possible. Unlikely, but possible.

The real reason this is suggested, repeatedly, and never implemented is that there's nothing to prevent a person from creating and friending unlimited F2P accounts, porting those wizards to their gardens, tending and never needing to buy an energy elixir, even with dozens of stacked gardens.

KI is a business. They need revenue. They'll never do this, it's far too exploitable - and the few situations where it could be used not exploitatively encourage using your "friends."

That's why I asked why you would want this - wondering about likely, legit, friendly situations where it would be useful that nobody has ever brought up before. Nope

As to the energy quandary, nonmembers should regen at the current member rate and members should have a 25/33/50% increase. Currently it's easy to have more energy than you can fill in 24 hours.

exactly, and thus this would be a good way to get people to buy memberships.

>KI is a business. They need revenue.

You work for them? If not, don't speak for them.

>Currently it's easy to have more energy than you can fill in 24 hours.

speak for yourself. First of all, most people don't play 24 hours a day, and when they're online it's very easy to use up every speck and not accomplish everything you wanted to. Plus, low levels have very little energy.

Not that it matters, really. Thankfully it's not up to you to make the decision on this, it's up to KI development.

I don't understand why this would be a compelling reason to buy a membership. You're assuming that people who buy a membership will automatically find friends who are going to just come over to their castle and do their gardening for them. I have serious doubts about that. Member benefits need to be tangible, not a gamble such as this proposition. Beyond that, there are other concerns.

First, you have to be in your castle in order for your friends to port to it. So what's going to happen? Begging. "Come to my castle and do my gardening for me!"

Second, if you're not at your castle, the only other way for your friends to get to your castle is through Castle Tours. So what's going to happen? Castle Tours is going to be flooded with castles that people put up just so that they can get someone else to visit and do their gardening for them.

I don't think KI, nor the community, wants to see either of those things happen.
