Hello I am a level 48 ice. I was wondering why do people get pets from their own school? They give spells that you already learned and have. I guess it gives good stats for your school. Comments anyone? ~Taylor Swift~

All schools get pets in their own school at level 48 (and more above). They do help, each in their own way. While you may have that spell card, you may get some very helpful stats from the pet.

I like the fact that these pets are based off spells that we all love, and only your school can use them so they seem special.

well, there's a few simple reasons:

1) When they give cards, if they belong to your school, you can take advantage of power pips when casting them
2) if they have "may cast" spells, they will stack on top of your normal cards. Example, if you cast a fireblade, and your phoenix (the pet I use with my fire mage) casts a fire blade, when you successfully hit, BOTH blades will stack on top for extra damage
3) When they give bonuses to attack/defense, the bonuses are in your primary school
