The level 78 and 98 school pets are quite good, because they come with the Dealer (damage boost) talent for their respective school. You could try to get the Dealer on one, then hatch it with a pet with some damage, resistance and healing. You can get all of those from a good Sea Dragon, but Fairy Friend is better than Spritely if you can get your hands on it.
