Skipping animations or speeding up combat?

HI, long time player, looking for either help, or to provide a suggestion. A lot of my friends say that while they like the game a lot, they cant get into it because watching each spell takes too long. In pirate101 there was a way to speed up combat, is there any such thing in wiz? To hide animations and just see damage or whatnot? If not, there really should be! It would bring a lot of serious players back to the game.

Many have been advocating for such a feature or implementation for quite a while now.

Many spells have tremendously long animations, especially when it is hitting multiple enemies such as Forest Lord, Sirens and Ra.

These spells can easily be adjusted (like Lulu) and have them attack everyone in one shot rather than individually.

It's even more groaning when each mob uses the same spell.

I feel this is a desperately needed feature, especially for veterans of the game who are tired of sitting and waiting for long spell animations to elapse.
