Well, the thing is, Wizard 101 was meant to have kind of a roomy look to it. something that was slgihtly cartoonish but not silly.
Pirate 101 was meant to look realistic. you should see the world through the characters' eyes.
As for wizard, though... they could just make it an option in game... Maybe, a slider between "Cartoony" Aesthete to "Realistic" aesthete. maybe the same for pirate.
