New stat to improve combat

Speed Stat.
I believe there is a stat in Pokemon called speed that decides who goes first. To fix the dreadful system in PVP that relies on luck, which gives a huge unfair advantage to whoever goes first in PVP, why not add a new stat that would further improve gear uniqueness of stats, similar to the new PIP conversion stat. The speed stat would work at the beginning of EVERY turn, not just the beginning of the battle because if it was just at the beginning of the battle, the first turn advantage would still be a problem. Here's an example:
Player A has 300 Speed, Player B has 100 speed. Duel starts and the system will combine these 2 stats and make a fraction for them. So the total of these two would be 400. This means Player A has a 300/400(3/4) chance of going first for the turn, and Player B has 100/400(1/4). To be fair, this would be every turn, so if Player B was to go second for one turn, they still would have a chance of going first the next. In another scenerio, if player A has 100 speed and player B has 100, the chance would be out of 200. Meaning both would have 1/2 chance to go first. The equation would vary depending on the situation. For multi battles like 4v4 or even uneven battles like 1v3, the system would take add the speed stats for each individual person. 4v4 would work like: VSwould have their speed stat combined for the first turn. for the next turn it would be VS, so on and so forth. For uneven battles like 1v3, the system would take the sole player and put it against the 3 each turn. So it would be VS combined first turn, then VS next turn, then vS the turn after, etc...
