Recently, I've been joining team ups only to have everyone else bail but I am still stuck waiting 10 minutes until I can try again. Is this supposed to be happening / how can I avoid it?
My understanding is that the team up penalty was put in place to encourage people to actually help throughout the entirety of the dungeon, rather than picking and choosing when and for how long to help. When you leave prematurely, the game can't tell whether you're leaving because you're there by yourself, or if you're the one bailing on everyone else. So yes, I assume this is intentional. I don't know how you'd be able to avoid it besides just completing the dungeon by yourself :/
