New level 78 (rank 8) spell ideas

Receive a spell quest from professor at level 78


Ice (Wolf pack) 780 hit + 40% legion shield

(useful team utility - ice needs 8 pip single hit for pvp and pve)


Fire (Azhuras Embers) 50 + 1000 DOT single target + 45%smoke screen

(didn't detonate get a pip reduction?)


Storm (Squids gamble) 500 or 900 or 1500 storm single target + healing current

(open to suggestions here, I'm not sure what storm needs most at this level)


Balance (spiritual revenge) 740 life+guiding light, or 815 death+weakness, or 920 myth+stun single target hit

(PVP inspired, although the myth damage might be to much)


Life (Mother Ursid) 40 + 720 single target, double hit

(I know the double hit is a myth utility; utilities bleed between schools. Lore wise life and myth -kinda- overlap, both magics are about creation, both boost on storm, and life needs a utility hit)


Death (Draugars Bite) 770-820 single target + 40% universal trap

(A stronger non Von attack with utility + combo into headless)


Myth (Blind Valkyrie) the 50 + 800 single target

(non shad og Orthurs)

Level 78 (Avalon) has a spell gap, and its felt in pvp, Avalon, and Azteca. I think these bridge that gap, provide new, unique pvp situations, and would be perfect alongside a new level 80 dungeon; providing optional gear as n upgrade from waterworks/house of scales while revitalizing Archmage pvp
