Inconsistency between combat talent spell potencies

The spells cast by pet combat talents AKA "will cast" pet talents are usually only as potent as the regular trained version of the spell. However, the combat talent version of both "Wyldfire" & "Doom and Gloom" are stronger than the trainable version of those spells. These two combat talents have the increased potency of treasure card/item card variations instead: 35% outgoing damage vs. 25% for Wyldfire, and -75% incoming vs. -65% for Doom and Gloom. I think this may be an oversight because all other combat talents including other global spells like "Time of Legend", "Darkwind", and "Balefrost" are only as effective as the trainable versions of those spells.
