Justicebringer Legaton, the Balance Cyclops form, is way too overpowered, there is no counter to this unit, he can 0 pip blade and absorb with a single spell, he has another spell that stacks with that and is only 2 pips, He can stack and save his pips, then aoe everyone and clear the board with his Colossal Scorpion, and he can even double his pipgain with Tide of Battle. He has 575 health and even a stun spell. Balance is supposed to be all the specialities of the other classes mashed together, but weakened, for as the name indicates:Balance. Pease fix this broken unit, he can protect dps and buff them at the same time, and their is nothing anyone can do about it.

Jack, the way Beasts perform isn't a bug, and experienced long-time players can all tell you: Balance Cyclops is by far one of the WEAKEST beasts in the game. This is why you seldom see him played.

Here's why Balance cyclops is generally considered weak:

Because a lot of his spells are blade / shield combos, he is highly vulnerable to all of the various beasts who "punish" players for using either shields or blades. Myth bull, death fairy, myth rat, ice elf, fire elf--the list goes on. ALL those beasts punish players for using either shields or blades. Meaning poor Cyclops becomes Paper to most everyone's Scissors while he tries to fight.

And too, Balance Cyclops is a very slow hitter. Doesn't have anything to hit with of note below 3 pips. So in today's current fast-paced, hard-hitting Beastmoon environment, Balance Cyclops is generally regarded as a bad partner who will not be able to do much damage until it is too late. And again, that's not counting all the punishment he typically takes even trying to USE both shields and blades at the same time!

So give poor Justicar a break. He is seldom seen, seldom played, and has a very tough life out there on the battlefield. The LAST thing the poor guy needs is any sort of "nerf"!

Agreed with Samantha, the Balance Cyclops is one of the weaker Beastforms. In addition to its bread-and-butter spell being countered by so many other forms in one way or another, it also has terrible synergy with its cheap attack spell. You cast the shield+blade combo card and then you end up giving the shield away to the opponent you were meant to attack - whoops.

Its buffed AoE is pretty nice, but it is definitely not the best out there. You need to spend 3 turns on it and 5 pips (3 from the AoE, 2 from the second blade+shield card) to do 275 damage. In comparison, the Storm Wolf can do 350 for the same amount of turns and pips used (Sheet Lightning costs 3, Supercharge costs 2, and they also have a 0-pip blade, then on top of that they still have a +100 blade from Supercharge's second effect). And that's not even fully buffed. The Death Ninja Pig does 250 with their Horseman AoE with no prior setup, and if you do have a blade up, if gives your entire team a +100 blade.

That's not even counting that both of those beastforms have options they can switch to easily if they decide not to AoE. The Storm Wolf can fire off a nasty stun with their Owl, or just wipe out someone entirely with their Shark after putting those blades up. The Death Ninja Pig, having no buffs up in the first place, can just use any of their other cards just fine. Meanwhile, the Balance Cyclops cannot do this. At 3 pips, your only other attack is that 1-pip Scarab that does 75 damage and will give your target one of your own shields by accident. You would have to wait a turn to get your 4th pip. The 4-pip hits that you have as the Balance Cyclops are serviceable, but if you had used that 2-pip blade+shield card, then you end up needing 6 pips for this, and that is just far too slow. It's definitely more viable if you use their Global spell, but that benefits the enemies just as much as you.

Your best role as Balance Cyclops will usually be to support others. While the Blade+Shield spells are very handy in providing both an offensive and defensive buff at the same time, it also is a drawback because of all of the anti-blade and anti-shield utilities out there. You can't just mindlessly cast these on your teammates; you need to observe the battle going on and coordinate with that ally so that your support cards don't backfire. Beastmoon Chests are this form's best friend, because even if you get the Blade or Shield TC, you can make your 0-pip plays with less counterability - and they stack with your regular cards anyway.
