The loading screen issue is a known bug for several years that for some reason has not been fixed yet. Many people(including myself) have reported it multiple times, but it still has not been addressed.
Huh. I found it recently, after the new screens. Eventually, i could open the map and backpack but the realms never worked. It's happened in Zafaria, Mount Olympus, and Mirage.
