Shadow spells are devestating. The worst thing about them is that you cannot control them. Whether you can get them or not it all depends on luck which I think is frustrating. There is talk about wanting shadow spells removed completely from PvP and I wouldn't be opposed to it however, I think there might still be a place for them. As the title says, implement them as a comeback mechanic in PvP. I personally think that the removal of shadow pips and spells completely in PvP will just turn high level into a bigger sweat fest then it already is and completely gatekeep casuals from wanting to play at all.
