I come to this forum with a suggestion which is the LUCK attribute. So basically a stat that you can find on armor that increases basically your luck.
For example, you are doing a quest that involves the collection of items from defeating mobs. We all know this can be a pain, especially when they don't drop. If you been to Celestia, you know what I am talking about. In Celestia for example the drop rates for some these missions are INSANELY low. The more luck, the higher chance of the mob dropping the item for collection.
Maybe higher good item drop rates from bosses? Chests could have increased gold amounts.
Honestly, I think KingsIsle could do plenty with a luck attribute.
