Mysterious cave quest

I did the Mysterious cave quest this morning given by Dworgen, finished it fine, bought a transformation inside, but didn't get any pet or XP, used teleporter to commons inside, still nothing. Went back to Dworgen, nothing, What happened?

It might have something to do with the "fix" they were working on for Dworgyn. I saw this post on Central, with a reply from KI about Dworgyn:
