I was thinking it would be nice for crafters of an appropriate level to be able to dismantle gear & housing items for there base reagents. It would help in being able to craft that new piece of equipment or household item your tearing your hair out in frustration for because you can't find enough reagents to finish your project.
There were no replies so I shouldn't beat this but, I'll give it one more kick. The Idea is to have the option to dismantle gear in order to recover the base reagents. An adept crafter would only be able to dismantle simple objects while a Grandmaster Crafter could dismantle higher level gear for the base reagents.
It's just another option to feeding No Auction items to my pet as well as a chance to get rarer reagents for crafting new gear.
