Scary theory- Elik Silverfist

We all know Elik's Edge. It's the pretty cliff that people glitch behind and use to summon frost giants. But we all wondered why it's called Elik's Edge. Merle Ambrose wrote in a thread that: Elik's edge has been around for many, many years -- since the first world was broken and Wizard City was formed, in fact. It was named for one of the early students, a somewhat scandalous rogue of a spellcaster named Elik who allegedly stole relics from the shopping distict and, when pursued, lept from the cliff never to be seen again.
Well, that seems to clear things up. But, Elik Silverfist is the name of the man who runs the bazzar. His name is Elik, as well as the fact that he is working in a shop. So, what if Elik Silverfist is a ghost?

That sounds possible. It's a dark theory, but interesting.

Also something to add: Elik Silverfist has swords on his back for some reason. Maybe it's referring to "Elik's Edge".

What makes you think Elik perished? Maybe he leaped, but survived.
The Headmaster likes to give lots and lots of chances to his students.
Maybe if Elik hadn't survived, it would have been called "Elik's Leap" as all good leaps are called, but it was called Elik's Edge. The implication implys he survived, by an "edge".
Maybe Elik ended up working the bazzar.
Maybe they are one and the same.

I like that story better..

It's nicer, but he would've landed straight into collossus blvd. If the fall didn't kill him, the injuries from the fall would've left him in the cold...
