Damage Not Calculated Correctly?

Hi.

Scarecrow enchanted with Colossal (base of 583).

80% damage from equipment.

40% damage from Deathblade.

45% damage from sharp Deathblade.

That should total 2130, yes?

583 * 1.8 * 1.45 * 1.4 = 2130.3 (2130)

I was wanting to "farm" Whiptail Pantera, and instead of 2130 I did 2124.

6 points lower than expected. Considering that the Pantera has 2125 health, I was incredibly disappointed.

Did any of your damage boost come from your pet? That value may be rounded up.

Is dmg that's given from pet part of that 80%? If yes, pet dmg gets doesn't round. The game calculates it with it's real numbers (for example if you have 5.82 damage talant, it'd show as 6%, but the game would not use 6%, it will calculate with 5.82%.

Hello again.

I do get 2% damage from an adult pet, so you are probably right about that being the source of why it wasn't precise.

Thanks for bringing pet calculations to my attention, I've been here since 2009 but never knew this. I will check my numbers next time I log in.

Thankfully I just need to train the pet's stats a small amount to make the % more accurate. Good job guys.
