Malorn seems to have lost his icon

My daughter has been trying to talk to Malorn to use a training point. She is level 16. The little card icon above his head is gone and he won't react to her. My characters at that level have no problem talking to him.

merle doesnt teach any spells
and i dont think he ever has a icon like that above his head

Dude, this person means Malorn Ashthorn, not Merle Ambrose. It was clearly stated as Malorn so how did you mistake it for Merle?

If your daughter is level 16 and has already trained the Vampire spell, she cannot learn any more spells from Malorn~ she'll have to visit Dworgyn in Nightside to learn the rest.

Von is correct. After learning all spells from Malorn, you can no longer talk to him and have to go see Dworgyn.

it's the same with the balance instructor (forgot his name) in Ravenwood.
