How to fix those henchmen!

There should be two types of henchmen, the old ones, and the new ones. The new ones should cost 2 crowns per level, and the old the normal price. The new should be smarter and have better moves.
Example:
The life would cast, let's say unicorn, when your health dropped below 55%, thus giving healing at a needed time. Unlike the old, who would randomly heal, it would also cast guiding light then a heal, so it always has a guiding light on when healing.
The balance would, blade, hex, blade, hex, blade, spell, blade, hex and so on. It would also shield and add more blades to you than itself. It never attacks without a blade on itself and a hex on the target.
And the others would also be good like this...
