How Do I Turn Off - Feeding Gear To A Pet

About 10 minutes ago, my 2 year old daughter grabbed my wife's character's hat and fed it to her pet.

(Yes, the 2 year old was able to answer 'yes' to "are you sure?")

Luckily this was an item my wife could replace from the Bazaar. (The 800 gold my wife got from the pet wasn't even close to 1% of the items replacement cost)

If this had been a custom piece of gear I would have been more upset than I am.

My question: How can I turn this horrible horrible 'feature' to off?

Keep the two year old away from the computer?

Just like trashing an item, there is no way to "turn it off." The "Are you sure" message is there to help prevent accidental sells/trash/feeds, but there currently is no way to turn it off.

Why would someone make a feature to feed items to a pet in the first place? I mean really, wizard hats probably don't taste very good...

As for now, just be more careful. Stuff like this happens.
