Pressing the X "activate" key

Pressing this key doesn't work in my game, and I don't know why?
My keyboard works fine, and pressing x does work but only for the World Gate. Anywhere else i can't get it to work, no matter what I do, which makes it impossible for me to do any quests in Dragonspyre.

Did anyone have this problem before?

Just click with your left mouse. I think KingsIsle did that for a purpose, after all.

That's an issues on your PC. But why it's happening, I do not know.

I can press "X" to activate objects and it always works.

I can't complete waterworks because of this error all of my other friends x key is working fine but me is it just me or what???
