If they have plants in them, you can't move them.
If they are empty, you can move them around just like any common household item.
For reasons known only to people who sit in the dark a lot, potted plants cannot be moved while they contain living plants. They are programmers, not gardeners. When your plants mature to elder and you harvest them, THEN, lol, you can pick up the pot and move it. Just DO NOT plant in the pot again until it is exactly where you want it to be.
Had to wait several days to get six pots out my dorm room and moved to my house.
