I'm sure many of you know that equipment can give you accuracy boosts, but many have pondered if this accuracy actually is added to a spells current accuracy(1) or if the boost is actually taken from the percentage of the current accuracy of the spell(2).
(ex1) 15% Storm accuracy from gear boost used on a 70% accuracy storm spell to produce a total of 85% accuracy for the storm spell
(ex2)15% Storm accuracy from gear boost used on a 70% accuracy storm spell to produce a total of 80.5% accuracy for the storm spell

So which one is being used within wizard101?

My understanding is that it's a linear addition, meaning a 70% spell with a 15% enhancement would be 85%.
