In the pvp ranked its completly unfair to fight against a player of the same school especialy if your the last to move. Your both doing basically the same thing only the other guy does it first and you die. Both usualy have same life, spells, and everything. I have a lvl 26 balance and i was fighting against a lvl 26 balance. We had aproximatly same life and same spells. We both had the same second and third school and we both had reshuffle so the fight went on for more then an hour.
Also you shouldn't be put against a player with more then 5 lvl difference. And the thing that tells you it found an opponent should also show you your opponents lvl.
