Read the book near the door. It will give you a hint as to what you need to do.
In order to do what the book wants, you may need to defeat a few bosses (probably three), and naturally the bosses are probably scattered at the corners of the area. If you just follow the right side of the wall, you'll probably eventually find all of them.
