Hi,

I think I missed something during the pet introduction. What does the little numbers over my pet mean?

You're referring to the Pedigree

Your pet's Pedigree Score represents its upper potential which is how rare and powerful the Talents and Powers are that it can manifest. The higher its Pedigree, the better. The second number represents how much of your pet's Pedigree it has already manifested.

How can it be the upper potential?

It counts all the dots on all the slots on the pet
10 slot per side total of 20 slots
At epic you get 8 of those slots
I have a pet with a 53
26 is the max dots for 8 slots
That is less than half that so call potential.
Odds are not very high that you will not see the 26 or even reach epic level.
That pet is ancient now with 17 miss the possible 20 for 6 slots
Pedigree should be max you can get for the pet. So for this pet it would be 26
You can not manifest the 53

Your thinking of the wrong side. This person is asking about the part in the parentheses. You are referring to the other part.

No left number is potential
Right number is dots acquired or how much of the potential it filled.
But the number system you cannot get more than half their potential number
If a test has a 100 point the potential score is 100 not 50
