I am unable to play the game

I can't get into the game, when I try to log on. I type in my password, and it works fine. It takes me to the next screen, which is the patching screen, where it freezes. Above the progress bar is File Progress Patching: ...ata/_Shared-WorldData.wad.

I have tried going into the game data files and deleting the wad and wadtmp, the problem continued. I have tried reinstalling and it did not help anything.

I have not seen any other solutions that would work. So please, if anyone has fixed this problem before please help me. It has been like this for over 14 hours.

Same here, started around 9am and here it is at 6:02 pm. Same problem :-(

The same exact problem I am having. Started yesterday for me. I tried to re install Wizard101 and it would say "Application Corrupt". I tried to download it from their site and re install, same thing "Application Corrupt". Then it prompts me with two options:


Reinstall using Recommended settings

or

This program installed correctly

Well one more option - Cancel.

I have actually chosen all three of these options and nothing has worked. I thought maybe I had a virus on my computer so I formatted and reinstalled everything.

I went to Wizard101 site and BOOM "Application Corrupt"

I weeded out any possible problems with my computer, my computer is in fact 100% working correctly.

CRC error


\Wizard101\PatchClient\BankA\gdiplus.dll does not match the file in the setup's .cab file.

It says contact the software's vendor.

A DxDiag is a utility designed to display the specifications of the user's hardware, as well as to test DirectX software, including sound and video. If you are asked for this information in an email, it helps the support group relate your gaming issue to your personal computer.

To create a dxdiag.txt just go to Start -> Run (or Search in Vista) and enter dxdiag and click OK. Once the program has run it's course, click "Save all Information" and it will output a txt file that you can attach to your email.

I havent gotten onto game for over 6 weeks now (after I went to log in page and clicked on one of the WIZARD 101 links.) Got a new ISP today and the tech told us that the reason we cant get onto game or uninstall/reinstall is because of a bad virus and we will have to reset out computer back to factory settings...havent tried that yet but we are going to, dont have any other choices and KI support hasnt given me any answers regarding this.
