I just purchased the Guardian's Outfit thinking it looks very cool and would keep the stats I had with my equipped clothes. I was shocked to find out that I lost nearly 1k health and all my other vital stats. I sent in a ticket asking for them to take the Guardian's Outfit back and credit my 7k crowns and will try to patiently wait. It would be a good idea however to avoid future shock by warning people if you want to wear the cool outfits that you will lose the stats you previously had. Thanks for letting me vent.https://www.wizard101.com/jforum.ftl?module=posts&action=edit&post_id=61274&start=0
To update this story, I received a reply today saying they were sorry but they would not take back my items and credit my crowns so i could purchase something that was actually useful . My family and I have purchased nearly 200 dollars in crowns in the couple months we have been playing but after this I am fairly sure we will never purchase more crowns. Remember when business's cared about keeping customers ( especially those who spent fair amounts of money ) happy. I've now vented enough. thanks for all your replies. Jim

This is why we introduced the Seamstress, young Wizard!

New Seamstress

Have you ever found a clothing item you love the look of, but wish it had the stats of something different? Well now you can take the stats of one piece of clothing and apply them to another piece of clothing of the same type. Love the stats on your Dragonspyre hat but it doesn't match your Grizzleheim outfit? Find a Grizzleheim hat you like, and move the stats from your Dragonspyre hat, to the new Grizzleheim hat to complete your stylish look.

Eloise Merryweather, who can be found near Zeke in all worlds of the Spiral (including Grizzleheim) has been busy learning how to stitch! For a small Crowns fee, she will allow you to transfer the Stats of one item onto the Appearance of another.

Next time you talk to her, simply select the item you want to use as the Appearance, and the item you want to use as the Stats. Click Create and you'll have a whole new outfit with the look and stats you want combined into one.

Please heed these important things to note about this process:
-> Both items will be removed from your backpack and replaced with the new item that will be created with the Appearance and colors of one piece, and the Stats and name of the other, as you specified
-> The name of the item will be transferred from the Stats item, along with the bonuses
-> The bonuses of the appearance item will completely disappear, and be overwritten by the bonuses of the stats item
-> Once the transaction is complete, and you've purchased the item, it cannot be undone!
-> This process costs Crowns

I had a problem too, this time with a Mount.

I used the beta site for a couple of weeks to test all new items, the feature I found really useful was the confirmation of the purchase.

I opened up Game today with 96k of gold and wanted to buy a mount, in the beta you hit "Buy" then a smaller window confirmed the purchase and you had to hit buy again.

I inadvertantly tried to "test" the coloration that we were allow to do for mounts, but after the first "buy" in the bottom right( by the preview)the system auto- purchased the 85k lioness! It took weeks to get that much gold after purchasing the large Dragonspire house!

Sigh, I am sure you wont be able to refund it at all, I just though KI confirms every purchase and that is a huge one, where did it go?

usually when you click a clothing you get the info on that item... strenth or what comes with it..... when you do this on these they dont list anything other then the name, that right there should of gave a warning to you. but I do feel for you. if I had missed that id be mad too.

Experienced this same thing myself Rhemas.
Was showing my daughter the new mounts, letting her help me pick when she hit the buy button on the brown horse. Good thing she likes the horses because without that beta confirmation screen I am now the proud owner of something I didn't really want! *sigh*

Just have to save up & get the cool purple dragon later as selling the critter back for only 2500 (after paying 50k) just isn't an option either!
