Elixir Rewards Question

Hello,
In the recent 'Spring Update' it states that
'Please note that you have ~72 hours after an event ends to redeem individual progress rewards.'

Now what exactly are the individual progress rewards?
Do they mean the crowns benefit elixirs? Because I have other 10+ pages of elixirs from previous crowns benefits bonus'.
Are my elixirs safe?

This 72 hours is for the Deckathalons that are regularly run. When they end and the leaderboards are finalized, you have 72 hours to get your rewards.
