Your Gameplay Tips for November 2018

AuthorMessage
Administrator
Community! We need your gameplay tips for inclusion in each month's KI Live (Nov. 29), just like how we gather questions!

Reply to this forum thread, or one of the social posts we put up over the next few days, and we will select ~5 tips to present on this month's KI Live. Each selected tip will receive a similar amount of Crowns as the 10~ questions we respond too.

Tips should be brief (a short sentence) and of course must be appropriate to all ages and make sense for presenting on our KI Lives. They must also not involve cheats or extensive spoilers.

Only one tip per player per KI Live please. For social, use #Wizard101Tips and @KingsIsleLive

We can't wait to see what great tips you come up with!

When you click "Ignore" on someone, they will no longer join your Team-Ups! It's a great way to avoid Team-Up trolls!

Before you go to the next world make sure you stock up on TC's, potions, and boost your gear by heading to Wizard City or the Arcanum. That way you're ready for a team up or a long dungeon.

Communication and Teamwork is required for many dungeons/bosses (In w101) regardless you should communicate with other players or you will find yourself stuck at some point. I love interacting with everyone and because of that my game play is smooth. Not to mention i have met some incredible people and were still friends since 2010.

Hover over your name or the enemies to check which blades/traps and other things are being used.

Don't be embarrassed to ask for help, either Team Up or just in the commons. There are lots of higher level wizards that are happy to battle a Boss with you. Just don't expect everyone to want to do a long Dungeon unless it's on their quest list.

In need of some spare gold? Visit any shop vendor NPC, or the bazaar in Olde Town to sell any unwanted TC, gear, or reagents for some quick cash.

Before entering any battle, please ask if the team is ready so they can all join together without missing the first round. We all would appreciate it dearly.

Never sell Reagents. You never know when you will need them for crafting a spell or gear at a higher level.

Whenever you start doing a big dungeon like darkmoor, you should always check if you have the needed items to complete it smoothly

Activities such as Gardening and Crafting can yield valuable and very useful rewards!

Ensure you start these side acts quickly in the game.

Both of them requires steady persistence.

Well I've got a good idea. If you are entering a dungeon or somewhere else and press team up and you find a team and enter the place. Then suddenly everyone leaves leaving you alone. You get out of the building and press team up again and then have to wait 10 minutes because of someone. It isn't fair.

Fewer Cards! More Casting!
Every round passed tossing cards looking for one you need, is a round lost!

Think in terms of 2, no more than 2 of each card you really need to be carrying, and aim for 18-21 cards max!

Attack cards from the Fire and Storm schools may look like they are better than your own, but don't spend training points to learn attack cards from other schools! You will very quickly reach a point where attack cards from your own school will do more damage than attacks from other schools, even if you are Ice or Life! And you'll be able to use your power pips more effectively!

When you hit level 90 do the side quest to unlock the sun trainer in azteca, and buy sharpen blade as it is VERY useful.
