Hey i was wondering how is it that Rat magician and Rat Illusionist can be obtained with ease from countless mobs and bosses but Brown Spider and Red Ghost are only exclusive to holiday packs? Kinda seen rather unfair. I feel that rats illusionist/magician should be only pack or Red ghost and brown spiders should be as easy to obtain from mobs and boss battles.

You can buy a Brown Spider pet in the Mooshu pet shop. Seriously. It's available for 5000 gold.
Beware, though, that the card is amazing for a Life wizard but the pet itself is Death, with very low stats and mostly selfish talents. I had to hatch it quite a few times to make it useful to my Life wizard.
As for Red Ghosts, they are available from the Hoard of the Hydra crowns pack, plus you can win them as drops from Barkingham Palace. Most of the bosses in that dungeon have a chance to drop it. (That's how I ended up with one.)

In the case of these specific treasure cards, I agree with you completely. I have the brown spider pet, but it only gives one card. At least the Red Ghost pet gives three....
